As CEO of Public Digital I’m working to build an organisation that helps institutions thrive in the internet era.
Optimism counts in an era where pessimism is prevalent. I’ve worked with too many good people, in too many different parts of the world, to see the world any other way. I believe that most people want to do the best work that they can, to improve the lives of as many people as possible.
Internet-era ways of working are often not that hard to implement. Most teams know what they need to do in order to change; what they lack is permission to get on with it.
What are you most excited about for kyu’s next 5 years?
We can’t change the world on our own. Community and consensus were the values that shaped the internet from its earliest days. As Harry Truman said, it’s “amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” That’s the power of a collective.
