Strategic Consultancy Lexington Enters kyu Collective

Lexington, the UK’s leading strategic communications consultancy, has delivered positive change for businesses and for wider society, helping organisations to influence their audiences, navigate challenges and drive new ideas for more than two decades.

Led by founder Mike Craven, the 90-strong agency works with global brands, new market entrants, third-sector organisations, trade bodies and others, offering integrated advice on public affairs, government engagement, corporate communications, digital and responsible business.

Clients include the Football Association, International Airlines Group, Mars, and Warner Music along with global names in its fast-growing healthcare practice, including Sanofi, Merck/MSD, Roche Diagnostics and Pfizer.

Founded in 1998, Lexington has grown from a public affairs agency to an integrated, multi-channel organisation working with clients on corporate reputation, crisis management, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), digital as well as government and public affairs issues.

Lexington, which has offices in London, Manchester, Leeds and Cambridge, draws on the expertise of a senior team of former government advisers, former journalists, public affairs strategists, policy experts, ESG advisers, along with digital, data and communication specialists.

“I founded Lexington nearly 25 years ago and am immensely proud of all we have achieved,” said Mike Craven, Executive Chair and Founding Partner of Lexington.

“Lexington has doubled in size in the last three years. I want Lexington to continue to broaden and deepen its offer. We need a strategic partner to help boost our growth and kyu is the right partner for us to achieve that. They are an amazing group of companies in complementary disciplines which will help us develop new products and services for our clients and help us expand our reach into a bigger global market."

“Lexington is truly one of the UK’s leading strategic communications agencies,” said Michael Birkin, kyu’s CEO. From the very start of kyu, we have recognized that if we are to wield the influence and impact we both aspire and need to, we will need colleagues who understand the corridors of power and the media that influence them. Lexington brings direct experience of Whitehall, Westminster and the wider centers of power to deliver strategic advice and smart, insightful campaigns for their clients. They are simply the right company to help kyu expand into new terrains.”
