Atılım is a community weaver, a facilitator, and an interaction designer who endeavors to create meaningful connections between individuals and organizations, especially within the fields of creativity, design, and technology.
He studied Mechanical Engineering (İTÜ, Bsc.) Industrial Product Design (İTÜ, Msc.) and Interaction Design (Malmö University, Msc.). Throughout his professional journey, he has worked in technology and creative industry-related fields.
Prior to Neol, he was a part of ATÖLYE and held positions such as community lead, creative hub director, and director of communities, helping cultivate and grow ATÖLYE’s community. He was nominated as the Offline Community Professional of the Year by CMX, a global community of community professionals, in 2020.
Atılım was part of the founding committee of the European Creative Hubs Network (ECHN), a network of pioneering creative hubs across Europe, and acted as a board member and a secretary-general for four years. He also worked as a Local Facilitator in the Creative Enterprise Programme developed by Nesta innovation foundation and supports capacity-building activities for creative entrepreneurs in Turkey.
