Climate Week NYC & UNGA 2025

Questions about climate and sustainability are not disappearing. How do we stay ready for what’s ahead?

On Monday, September 22, IDEO, IDEO​.org, Public Digital, Gehl, SYPartners, kyu and a raft of partners hosted guests for programming around Climate Week NYC and the U.N. General Assembly 2025.

The day at kyu’s NYC HQ featured programming including:

  • IDEO partnered with the storytelling platform Rooted & Rising and Movilizatorio to share inspirational stories from across the globe from people who are driving change in the face of today’s mounting climate challenges.

  • IDEO​.org, Opportunity Collaboration, and Public Digital brought together a diverse collection of leaders to discuss approaches grounded in user needs and listening to others. 

  • Gehl reunited with WRI and RMI for a two-part session that doubled down on climate-aligned urbanism, sharing fresh insights about the state of climate, housing, and parking reform in cities across the U.S, and featuring a candid panel that discussed top-of-mind urban issues and opportunities.

  • At a special evening reception from kyu, Kite Insights, and SYPartners, attendees were encouraged to partake in activities designed to inspire honest and constructive conversations about the current climate space.
