Although he started his career as a French copywriter, Yanick quickly developed a passion for digital, innovation and strategy, leading him to hold numerous positions, including information architect, strategist, account manager, director, and now, executive vice-president. Yanick heads Sid Lee’s innovation and digital practice, while also acting as a CX transformation consultant to many clients. The industry acclaim he received for his projects earned him an honorary degree from Université de Montréal’s communications department, a distinction awarded to students for their accomplishments in the industry over the last 30 years.
He’s been a strategic advisor for Loto-Québec, Cirque du Soleil, Videotron, Hydro-Québec and LCI Education, to name a few. He also advised the product design UX team for Samsung’s mobile division.
A human encyclopedia, Yanick maintains an extensive collection of books (some of which are on the subject of digital marketing). Yanick spends much of his free time running, woodworking and playing board games.
